CruisePlus Update - September 9
We hope you are well!
It is strange to think that it is almost 6 months since Covid-19 slapped us in the face…and stranger still to have a predominant message of please be safe, everyone. Travel is coming, but for now, we still need to embark on close to home adventures (we can help with this) …but nothing is stopping us from dreaming and planning our next destination vacation!
Here are some amazing offers to help get your travel imagination moving again. Enjoy taking a look, and call us to make plans! And below…some personal, close to home travel pics!
As always, we are here to assist you and wish you the best.
Shelley, Dave and the CruisePlus Team
As previously advised, guests who are booked on Nieuw Statendam voyages from June 6 to September 15, 2021, and on Rotterdam (previously Ryndam) voyages from May 15 to August 15, 2021 are being moved to new voyages due to deployment changes as a result of Rotterdam being delivered later than scheduled.
From what we can see, this has been communicated, and bookings have mostly already been moved. Questions? Please call us!
Flexibility is in the air….American Airlines, Alaska, United, and Delta have permanently eliminated many change fees.
Costa Cruises resumes sailing from Italian ports this Sunday, September 13th, and AIDA Cruises is set to resume cruising to the Canary Islands on November 1st, 2020.
Cunard has opened the 2022 World Cruise for sale. Early booking benefits are available if booked and deposited by December 6, 2020. Ask one of our world cruise experts! PS – many of the world cruises are now open to book – stay tuned for more info!
Friday - TSA reported the largest number of passengers thru TSA security checkpoints at US airports since the pandemic began.
Royal Caribbean Group has announced that they will rely heavily on their existing app to assist with health and safety protocols as they reopen. It appears it will greatly assist by allowing for less contact – but it appears to me that some of the new features will prove very convenient as well.
