Rainforest Sanctuary
Explore this stunning 40-acre rainforest reserve located 8 miles from Ketchikan near the picturesque Herring Cove. Take a guided nature walk for a chance to see bald eagles, black bears and a variety of wildlife. Visit a historic sawmill and checkout the Raptor Chenter Ketchikan exhibit.

Hubbard Glacier
The Hubbard Glacier is famous for being North America’s largest tidewater glacier. It’s over 120 kilometres long (75 miles), 11 km wide (7 miles) and flows directly into Disenchantment Bay, which feeds into the North Pacific Ocean. The Hubbard Glacier height is said to be 600 feet at its terminal face (350 feet exposed above the waterline and 250 feet below the waterline. For perspective, this is the same height as the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington. It’s HUGE!

Wrangell
Wrangell, one of the oldest communities in Alaska, is strategically located nearby to the mouth of the Stikine River. The only town in Alaska to have existed under three flags and been governed by four countries—the Tlingit, Russia, England, and the United States—Wrangell is now home to around 2,500 people.
