On this adventure from Vancouver to Whittier, you’ll venture deep into Prince William Sound, the Inside Passage, and the Alaskan Panhandle. Each day brings flexible expedition-style opportunities to get out on small boats or kayaks as the Expedition Team scout for the best landings and wildlife encounters. You’ll watch for whales and orcas, as well as bears and moose along the shore, experiencing Alaska’s glaciers, fjords, and towering mountains up close. With several days set aside for pure exploration, you’ll have the opportunity to walk, sail and kayak in some of the most soul-stirringly beautiful places that wild Alaska can offer.
The southeast region of Alaska is known for its enchanting vistas and its mix of cultures. We’ll be visiting remote Indigenous communities where the Łingít, Haida, and Chugach peoples continue long-standing traditions rooted in these lands and waters. We’ll also spend time in places influenced by later arrivals – Russian and Norwegian among them – whose presence has left enduring marks on the region’s history and character.

After exploring Quito´s historic centre and visiting the Equator, we’ll head to the Galápagos Islands for an unforgettable sea adventure. We’ll be on the lookout for iconic animals such as giant tortoises, marine iguanas and Blue-footed Boobies. After a flight from Reykjavík, your voyage of discovery begins in Nuuk. On this all-encompassing expedition cruise, you’ll discover the wonders of four Arctic regions: the jagged east coast of Baffin Island, the azure shores of Devon Island, the spine-tingling fjords of Northwest Greenland, and the awe-inspiring Disko Bay in West Greenland.
You’ll sail through biologically rich sea ice environments and visit remote coastal communities. Learn about Inuit culture through firsthand experiences and search for wildlife like bowhead whales, narwhals, seabirds and elusive polar bears. On board your fully equipped vessel, you can recharge between adventures and delve into the science of the region with your Expedition Team.

Four iconic regions of the pristine North
Setting out from Greenland’s picturesque capital, Nuuk, we’ll traverse the shores of Baffin Bay—the icy sea that links east and west and binds the cultures of Arctic Canada and Greenland. This all-encompassing expedition cruise reveals the exquisite southern fjords of Greenland, the majestic grandeur of the Torngat Mountains, the historic settlements of coastal Labrador, and the charm of Newfoundland. The days will be filled with awe and wonder as we sail expedition-style and set foot in some of the most out-of-the-way places on the planet.
Exploration at the edge
As we cruise through biologically rich marine environments and visit remote communities, you’ll learn about the distinct Inuit cultures found in Greenland and Labrador. Situated at a crossroads where migrations from the East and the West met, this region has a captivating past. Uncover the diverse histories of European explorers, Viking settlers, Moravian missionaries and Basque whalers on a fascinating deep dive into the history and ecology of this pristine and under-explored destination.
