Canadian ports close for 2021…
Well, here we go again! This is a very curvy and up and down road we are all on. As this situation changes we are here for you!
Unfortunately, Covid-19 has kept evolving and so do the regulations around travel. Canadian ports are now officially closed to cruise ship traffic for 2021. It’s very disappointing, and we are feeling it for all of us! At the same time, safety first.
Our recommendation at this time: Do not cancel your cruise. We are awaiting further information from our travel suppliers as to what their procedures (and opportunities) are going to be. We don’t want you to miss out! So…please hang tight.
If sailings are canceled, we hope that we are going to be able to move bookings from 2021 to 2022 at the same price and offer. If we can, or even close, it will be great value compared to what we are seeing for existing 2022 pricing. As we have mentioned before, 2022 is selling very well, and prices have risen as that demand has increased. We are seeing sailings that are sold out, for instance in balconies and suites, which is where most of our clients like to live onboard.
Please be patient – we will be back in touch as soon as we know more. There is a small glimmer of hope that this could turn in a more positive direction, but we may not know for some time.
Hang in there! We are all going to get thru this…together. In the meantime, we wish you the best. Be safe, and keep your travel dreams alive!
