- Optional Activities
- Visa (mandatory for stays from January 1st, 2027 onwards or for customers with a non-Canadian passport), entrances not mentioned on the itinerary, drinks, early check in, tips and any other services not mentioned in "The Price Includes" section.
- Mandatory tips: Mandatory tips of 60 USD per person are not included in the price and must be paid at the destination by either Cash or Alipay. Payment can also be done by GBP / CAD / EUR / AUD and the guide will collect your currency's equivalent of 60 USD following the exchange rate of the moment. Credit card will not be accepted. These are the ONLY mandatory tips you will be required to pay during this tour and will be covering the guide tips of the whole tour.
- Visa Requirements: The requirement to obtain a visa to enter China has been waived for arrivals up to December 31, 2026, for stays of less than 30 days. This new regulation applies only under these specific conditions and for holders of Canadian passports. If you are traveling with a non-Canadian passport or arriving after December 31, 2026, you must apply for a visa.
- Invitation letter: Although Canadian citizens are currently exempt from needing a visa to enter China, an Invitation letter will be sent to all bookings 60 days prior to departure. This document is intended for customers who do need to apply for a visa (those with non-Canadian passports or arrivals from 2027 onwards). For this reason, it is crucial that all names and details provided to Exoticca match your passport exactly.
- The cost of a Chinese Visa can range from 100 to 300 CAD / person depending on added assistance services, express delivery upgrades, etc. It usually takes around 10 days to get a visa approval.
- MANDATORY: Please send copies of the passports of all passengers to customersuccess@exoticca.com once you have booked your trip in order for us to process your Chinese Visa Invitation Letter. In the case that your passport number changes between the time of booking and the date of departure, you are required to carry both passports to ensure a smooth check-in process for any pre-purchased services.
- Please be advised that it is the traveler's responsibility to follow-up and be aware of any changes in either Visa requirements or entry conditions.
