DAY 1 – MARCH 29 – VANCOUVER
Departure from Vancouver with Air Canada and direct flight to Tokyo. Overnight flight and meals on board.

DAY 2 - MARCH 30 - TOKYO
You will arrive at Narita international airport around 2:25pm. You will be welcomed by your airport assistant and transferred to your hotel in central Tokyo. Settle into your room and the rest of the evening is free.

DAY 3 - MARCH 31 - TOKYO
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. At around 9:00 am, you’ll leave the hotel for the Meiji Shrine, where you’ll spend an hour. Afterwards, you’ll visit the Imperial Palace and lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you’ll visit Asakusa, then the Tokyo Sky Tree (entrance fee included). You’ll then stroll through Ginza before returning to your hotel at 6.30pm.

DAY 4 - APRIL 1 - TOKYO
Breakfast at the hotel. At around 9:00 am, you’ll leave the hotel for the Nikko Toshogu Shrine, where you’ll stay for an hour to visit (entrance fee included). Lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to Kegon Falls (entrance fee included). You will then explore Lake Chuzenji and return to your hotel around 8:00pm.

DAY 5 - APRIL 2 - TOKYO - MOUNT FUJI - KAWAGUCHIKO
Pack an overnight bag before 7:30 am, as your luggage will be sent directly to Kyoto. You will recuperate it on day 6.
After breakfast, departure around 9:00am, in the direction of Mount Fuji. Arrive at a local restaurant for lunch. You’ll visit the 5th station of Mount Fuji, then take a 30-minute cruise on Lake Kawaguchi (ticket included). Afterwards, you’ll explore Oshino Hakkai and arrive at the Mount Fuji Hotel (or similar) at around 6:00 pm to enjoy dinner on site.

DAY 6 - APRIL 3 - KAWAGUCHIKO - KYOTO
You’ll have breakfast at the hotel before departing at around 10:15am. You will arrive at Mishima station at 11:15am and travel to Kyoto by bullet train. On arrival at Kyoto station in the early afternoon, you will walk to the hotel (your hotel is a 5-minute walk from the station). You’ll pick up your main luggage at your hotel in Kyoto, which was delivered earlier from Tokyo. Settle into your room and enjoy the rest of the day.

DAY 7 - APRIL 4 - KYOTO
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Around 9:00 am, you’ll leave the hotel to visit the Kiyomizu temple (entrance fee included). Lunch will be taken at a local restaurant. After lunch, you’ll visit Kyoto Imperial Palace and Kinkakuji temple (entrance fee included) and then explore Arashiyama bamboo forest. Return to your hotel around 5:00pm.

DAY 8 - APRIL 5 - KYOTO
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. You’ll have a free day to explore Kyoto at your leisure.

DAY 9 - APRIL 6 - KYOTO - MOUNT KOYA - KYOTO
After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll leave at around 8:30am to begin another day of sightseeing. You will discover and stroll in the Okunoin Cemetery. Lunch will be taken at a local restaurant. After lunch, you’ll visit Kongobuji temple (entrance fees included), then Konpon Daito and Kondo pagodas (entrance fees included). Transfer back to Kyoto (arrival at around 7:30pm) and free time in the evening.

DAY 10 - APRIL 7 - KYOTO -OSAKA - KANAZAWA
Leave your luggage at the hotel by 7:30am and it will be delivered to Kanazawa directly.
Breakfast at the hotel before departure at around 9:00am. Visit the Namba Yasaka Shrine, known for its unique lion-head-shaped stage. Then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, savoring the flavors of regional cuisine. Take a leisurely walk through Dotonbori Street, famous for its vibrant atmosphere and neon lights. Spend some time shopping in Shinsaibashi, a bustling shopping district with a variety of stores. Arrive at Shin Osaka Station and depart from Shin Osaka Station by Shinkansen, heading towards Kanazawa. Arrive at Kanazawa Station. From here, please make your own way to the hotel on foot (5-minute walk). Arrive at your hotel in Kanazawa and retrieve your main luggage that was previously delivered from Kyoto. Check in and relax after your day of travel.

DAY 11 - APRIL 8 - KANAZAWA
Start your day with breakfast at the hotel. Around 9 a.m., depart the hotel for a visit to Kenrokuen (entrance fee included). In the afternoon, you’ll visit the Higashi Chaya district and the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in Kanazawa (entrance fees included). You’ll return to your hotel around 6:00 p.m. and enjoy your evening at leisure.

DAY 12 - APRIL 9 - KANAZAWA
Breakfast at the hotel. You’ll have a free day to explore at your leisure. There will be no guide or bus available.

DAY 13 - APRIL 10 - KANAZAWA - GUMMA
After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart from your accommodation around 8:00am. Lunch will be taken at a local restaurant on the way. You’ll visit Zenkoji Temple (entrance fee included) and then explore Jigokudani Monkey Park (entrance fee included). You’ll arrive at your hotel in Tsumagoi at around 6:30pm. Dinner will be served at the hotel around 7:00pm.

DAY 14 - APRIL 11 - GUMMA - TOKYO (NARITA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT)
Breakfast at the hotel before departure at around 9:00am. On the way, we’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant. You will arrive at Narita international airport at around 1:50pm to catch your return flight to Vancouver.
