Day 1 – Arrive in Cape Town, South Africa
Welcome to Cape Town! Arrive at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure before your South African adventure begins.
Day 2 – Cape Town
Discover Cape Town's highlights, including the Castle of Good Hope, City Hall, St. George's Cathedral, and the colourful Bo-Kaap neighbourhood. Enjoy a traditional Malay lunch before riding the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for spectacular panoramic views. End the day with dinner at a local restaurant.
Day 3 – Cape Peninsula Excursion
Travel along scenic Chapman's Peak Drive to Cape Point Nature Reserve and the Cape of Good Hope. Ride the funicular to the historic lighthouse, enjoy lunch by the sea, and visit Boulders Beach to see the famous African penguins.
Day 4 – Cape Town
Enjoy a full day at leisure to explore Cape Town at your own pace. Visit the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, tour the Cape Winelands, or join an optional whale-watching or helicopter excursion.
Day 5 – Cape Town – Hoedspruit – Makalali Private Game Reserve
Fly to Hoedspruit and transfer to Makalali Private Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger area. Embark on your first exciting afternoon safari in search of the Big Five before enjoying sundowner drinks and dinner at your safari lodge.
Day 6 – Makalali Private Game Reserve
Head out on early morning and afternoon game drives with expert guides. Watch for lions, elephants, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, and more, with time to relax at the lodge between safaris.
Day 7 – Makalali Private Game Reserve
Continue your safari adventure with morning and afternoon game drives, keeping an eye out for the reserve's incredible wildlife. Spend the afternoon relaxing before another memorable evening in the African bush.
Day 8 – Makalali – Johannesburg
Enjoy one final early morning game drive before breakfast. Fly from Hoedspruit to Johannesburg and spend the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 9 – Johannesburg
Explore Soweto with a local guide, visiting Mandela House and learning about South Africa's journey to democracy. Continue to Constitution Hill before enjoying free time in Johannesburg.
Day 10 – Johannesburg – Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
Fly to Victoria Falls and settle into your hotel. This evening, cruise along the Zambezi River while enjoying drinks, canapés, and a spectacular African sunset.
Day 11 – Victoria Falls
Take a guided tour of the breathtaking Victoria Falls, known locally as "The Smoke That Thunders." Enjoy free time to explore or join an optional helicopter flight or village visit before a farewell dinner overlooking the Zambezi River.
Day 12 – Victoria Falls – Johannesburg
Fly to Johannesburg, where your tour concludes. Please schedule onward flights after 7:30 pm.
