Bergen City
On the southwest coast of Norway is a city called Bergen. Mountains and fjords, including the longest and deepest in the nation, Sognefjord, surround it. On the old dock in Bryggen, which used to be the hub of the Hanseatic League's commercial empire, are brightly painted wooden buildings. To access the hiking trails and panoramic views on Flyen Mountain, take the Flibanen Funicular. The famed composer once resided in the Edvard Grieg House.
