Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City > 7-Night Mekong Cruise
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City and self-transfer to your luxurious Mekong River cruise. Settle into your suite, meet your fellow travellers, and enjoy a welcome dinner as your unforgettable journey through Vietnam and Cambodia begins.
Day 2: Cai Be > Sa Dec
Explore the charming riverside town of Cai Be, renowned for its vibrant floating markets and traditional handicrafts. Continue to Sa Dec, a picturesque town famous for its French colonial architecture, colourful flower gardens, and local markets.
Day 3: Tan Chau – Border Crossing
Discover the peaceful town of Tan Chau by traditional rickshaw or local boat, experiencing authentic Mekong Delta life. Later, cruise towards the Vietnam-Cambodia border as the scenery transforms along the mighty Mekong River.
Day 4: Phnom Penh
Arrive in Cambodia's vibrant capital, Phnom Penh. Visit historic landmarks including the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, or gain insight into Cambodia's recent history at the city's important cultural and historical sites.
Day 5: Phnom Penh > Oudong
Depart Phnom Penh and cruise to Oudong, Cambodia's former royal capital. Explore ancient temples and stupas while enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding countryside before returning to your ship.
Day 6: Silk Island > Angkor Ban
Visit Silk Island to learn about the centuries-old tradition of silk weaving and meet local artisans. Continue to Angkor Ban, one of Cambodia's few villages untouched by modern development, offering a glimpse into traditional rural life.
Day 7: Wat Hanchey > Kampong Cham
Explore the hilltop temple of Wat Hanchey, where spectacular views overlook the Mekong River. Later, visit Kampong Cham, known for its French colonial charm, riverside promenade, and relaxed atmosphere.
Day 8: Mekong Cruise > Siem Reap
Disembark your Mekong River cruise and travel overland to Siem Reap, the gateway to the magnificent Angkor Archaeological Park. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 9: Siem Reap
Spend the day discovering the awe-inspiring temples of Angkor, including the iconic Angkor Wat, one of the world's greatest archaeological treasures. Marvel at intricate carvings, ancient ruins, and remarkable Khmer architecture.
Day 10: Siem Reap
Continue exploring Siem Reap and the Angkor complex, with opportunities to visit temples such as Ta Prohm and Angkor Thom. Alternatively, enjoy time to browse local markets or experience the city's vibrant cafés and restaurants.
Day 11: Depart Siem Reap
After breakfast, your incredible journey through Vietnam and Cambodia comes to an end. Self-transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
