Hofburg Palace is a magnificent palatial complex that pays tribute to the power and influence of the Habsburg dynasty and served as the main winter palace for the rulers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire for hundreds of years.

Fisherman's Bastion

Built in the early 20th century in a neo-Gothic style, the seven towers were built for the panoramic view of of Margret Island across the Danube. It was named after the Guild of Fisherman, who were responsible for guarding this portion of the Danube during the Middle Ages.

Day 1 – Welcome to Munich

Munich, Germany

Arrive in Munich and meet your Travel Director. Enjoy an orientation tour featuring Marienplatz, the Glockenspiel, Munich Residenz, State Opera House, Hofbräuhaus and St. Peter’s Church.

Day 2 – Journey to Medieval Regensburg and Prague

Munich → Regensburg → Prague

Visit the UNESCO-listed medieval town of Regensburg before crossing into the Czech Republic and continuing to Prague.

Day 3 – Discover Colorful Prague

Prague, Czech Republic

Explore Prague with a Local Specialist, including Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Town Square and the famous Astronomical Clock. Enjoy free time to discover the city at your own pace.

Day 4 – Onwards to Slovak Bratislava and Budapest

Prague → Bratislava → Budapest

Travel through Moravia and stop in Bratislava for an orientation tour through its historic city centre. Continue across the Hungarian border to Budapest.

Day 5 – Explore Riverside Budapest
