A Few FAQs…
Sewing Machines: You will need to bring your own – a small one is preferable as you will be sharing an 8ft x 30″ table with one other person
Quilt Stores: Yes! There are quilt stores to visit in Juneau, Skagway, & Ketchikan.
Kits, Patterns, and quilting supplies: If you order a pattern or kit, it will be sent to you in advance, with instructions on how to prepare. No sewing supplies will be available to purchase onboard, as we will be in US waters. A very comprehensive supply list will be available beforehand, and Heather’s Fabric Shelf will stock all items.
Classes: This is your cruise, your class. If you miss anything in class because you want to go for a swim, spa, or walk around the deck with camera in hand, your instructor will repeat it for you on a one to one basis when you are ready to sew.
More questions? Questions about patterns or kits can be directed to Anne Hall or Heather Fagervik. Call & ask for experience travel specialist, Fiona Butchard, for cruise-related questions or bookings.
