Emerald Waterways: It’s all Included
Emerald is the premium sister brand to the ultra-luxury Scenic River Cruises brand. It is a modern line with new, contemporary ships. The seven Star Ships are all less than four years old and carry 182 guests each. The Mekong Navigator, shared with Uniworld, is also four years old and has only 68 guests.
The small fleet is focused on the most popular itineraries, Including the Danube, Rhine, Rhone, and Douro rivers. Their website shows Russia as a destination, with a ship operated by another company.
Discover the enticing allure of one of the world’s most modern and contemporary cruise lines, Emerald Waterways. Let us introduce you to Emerald Waterways for your next incredible river cruise!
“It’s all included” means beer and wine with lunch and dinner, Wi-Fi, transfers, port taxes and fees, and gratuities, similar to other premium river lines. Pricing and airfare savings are in line with Viking. That means you could score a nice bargain for departures they are promoting.
Complimentary excursions are offered in every port. At least once on every cruise, there is an exclusive EmeraldPLUS exclusive excursion with an “in-depth cultural discovery”. In addition, EmeraldACTIVE excursions are offered for cycling and hiking enthusiasts.
Most of the staterooms on the Star Ships are Panorama Balcony Suites which feature their “revolutionary indoor balcony design”. The top half of the wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling window can be lowered to create an open-air balcony effect. The ships also have an indoor pool that transforms into a cinema. An industry first!
This young cruise line is part of the highly successful Scenic Tours company. Early reports are positive. We think it is definitely an undiscovered value opportunity.
